20-year-old Ohio Marine killed while serving in Iraq

MILFORD, Ohio (AP) -- A 20-year-old Marine who liked technology and challenges in life has been killed in Iraq.
Details of Bryan Taylor's death weren't immediately available Friday. A woman at the family's home about 25 miles east of Cincinnati confirmed his death but declined to identify herself other than as an aunt.
"Bryan was always looking for another challenge," said Mark Lutz, assistant principal at Milford High School, where flags were at half-staff Friday. Taylor graduated there two years ago, completing his last two years of high school learning computer-assisted drafting at the Live Oaks Career Development Center.
Lutz said Taylor was a tailback on the Milford football team in his early high school years. School officials and teachers said Taylor was strongly interested in computers and technology and pushed himself to learn.
"He was an excellent young man," Lutz said. "He had a strong interest in technology. Looking for his next challenge, he decided to join the Marines."
Lutz said Taylor, in uniform, visited the high school in December after completing training.
"He was very proud, and he was pretty excited and looking forward to the challenge," Lutz recalled.
Students at Milford, a school of about 2,000 students, were "pretty solemn" Friday after the news was announced over the public address system in a statement by the principal, Lutz said.
Bryan's younger brother, Matt, a junior, is studying construction technologies at Live Oak, school officials said.
