Seats available on buses for tour of barns

LIBERTY -- A few seats remain on two chartered buses scheduled to leave at 8 a.m. Friday from the Holiday Inn MetroPlex as part of a nine-hour tour of six barns in Trumbull County.
Participants will visit barns in the area that have historical significance, and they will learn about who built the structures and other features, as well as how to properly maintain a barn.
The tour is the first leg of the seventh annual Ohio Barn Conference that will take place this weekend at the MetroPlex. The three-day event is sponsored by the Friends of Ohio Barns, a 5-year-old nonprofit organization, and will feature several speakers.
