2 men get court dates in trafficking charges

AUSTINTOWN -- Two men who face charges after a drug raid in Milton Township last month have court dates.
Jamie Noe, 19, of Grandview Avenue, Lake Milton, will appear in county court here at 6:30 p.m. May 1. He was charged with trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Richard Shaffer, 20, of Southington, is set to appear for a pretrial hearing June 19 at 1 p.m. He is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and drug abuse.
Noe is free on $2,500 bond, and the Mahoning County jail released Shaffer with no bond involved, court records say. Authorities arrested the men March 23 after a search of Noe's apartment.
Also arrested during the raid was Hubert Noe, 45, of Newton Falls on an outstanding warrant from Boardman. He is charged there with passing bad checks and will appear for a pretrial hearing at 9:30 a.m. May 16.
