A summary of recent criminal activity in Canfield city and Austintown Township:
CANFIELD
March 28
Theft: Someone forcibly entered a bedroom of a home in the 50 block of Edwards Street and stole money, using a brake tool to enter the room.
March 30
Drug abuse: A 27-year-old Austintown man was charged with drug abuse, obtaining, possessing, use and concealing after police found two grams of marijuana in his vehicle at East Main Street and Winona Drive.
AUSTINTOWN
March 27
Theft: A man fled after stealing a carton of cigarettes from Get-Go, 5163 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A door, wall, security light and ceiling tile were damaged at an apartment in 20 Wickliffe Circle.
Drug offense: A Youngstown woman was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana and cocaine, and a Youngstown man was charged with permitting drug abuse and obstructing official business at the Rebel Truck Stop, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft from auto: A vehicle registration and three disposable cameras were stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot of Dr. Edward Hobbs, 4321 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Warwick Lane.
Criminal damaging: A window was shot with a BB gun at a home in the 3000 block of Edinburgh Drive.
Aggravated robbery: A ring and a small bag were taken from a 37-year-old female at gunpoint by a man wearing a ski mask. The robbery took place in the executive lot of the Westchester Apartments.
Aggravated burglary: Three females entered a victim's apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.
March 28
Criminal damaging: A man broke out his estranged wife's car windows at an apartment in the 1600 block of Laurie Drive.
Tampering with coin machine: An attempt was made to pry a coin box from a laundry machine at apartments in 20 Wickliffe Circle.
Theft: Seven steaks were stolen by a man and woman who were arrested at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A 1985 Ford LTD was stolen from a home in the 600 block of North Four Mile Run Road.
Drug offense: A man from Reynoldsburg was arrested at a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Boulevard on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Auto theft: A 1977 Oldsmobile Aurora was stolen from apartments in the 1500 block of Fountain Square Drive.
Criminal damaging: Damage was reported at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
Burglary: $300 in coins was taken from a home in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.
March 29
Theft: Gantry cranes, metal tables, wheels and tires were stolen from All Do It, 540 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: A summons was issued for a man who stole candy from Sheetz Gas station.
Theft: Gasoline was stolen on five occasions this date at Sheetz gas station.
Theft: A Sprint cell phone was stolen from a victim's purse at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.
Criminal mischief: Three juveniles are accused of shooting paint balls at Woodside Elementary School, 4105 Elmwood Ave.
Burglary: Money was taken, but there were no signs of forced entry at an apartment in the 4000 block of Washington Square Drive.
March 30
Breaking and entering: Nothing was reported missing after a door lock was pried open at Smith Advertising, 15 Wickliffe Circle.
Criminal damaging: Damage to a lawn was reported at a residence in the 1500 block of Yolanda Place.
Theft: Jewelry was taken from a home in the 100 block of South Main Street.
March 31
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Buffalo Wild Wings, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A credit union account was used to order a product on the computer at a home in the 100 block of South Edgehill Ave.
Theft: A coat, gloves and hat were stolen at Marc's, 4755 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A Toshiba laptop computer was stolen from Radio Shack, 5880 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: It is unknown if anything was taken at a break-in at Austin Manor, 3104 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Drug offense: An Austintown man was arrested at Chippers Lounge, 9 N. Edgehill Drive.
Drug offense: A Warren man was arrested at Noday's Hideaway, 3713 Oakwood Ave. on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Criminal damaging: A window was smashed in the 100 block of Georgetown Place.
Theft from auto: A stereo and speakers were stolen from an unlocked auto at a home in the 4000 block of Winthrop Drive.
Criminal damaging: A window was damaged at a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.
Theft from auto: A subwoofer and an amplifier were stolen from an auto at a home in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A man was arrested on a theft charge at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: A compact disc player and compact discs were stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 1300 block of Maplecrest Drive.
April 2
Robbery: A man in his 20s driving a black Lumina or Monte Carlo fled on North Four Mile Run Road after grabbing cash out of the register at Schwebel's, 3800 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A 1997 Chevrolet pickup was stolen from the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.
Burglary: A burglary was reported at a home in the 100 block of North Raccoon Road.
Drug offense: A Niles man was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, and an Austintown man was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine and permitting drug abuse. The arrests occurred at Sheetz gas station.
