Man faces trespassing charge

GIRARD -- A city man will be due in Girard Municipal Court to face misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing as soon as he is released from the hospital.
Police reports say Kevin R. Humphrey, 26, of South Lorain Avenue was charged with the misdemeanor offenses after police found him scaling the fence on the Trumbull Avenue overpass bridge to the 7-11 connector.
Reports said Humphrey also had two warrants for domestic violence and criminal trespassing pending against him.
Reports said officers tried to apprehend Humphrey, but he ran. He was caught after a short chase across the connector and into Paul's Trailer Court. He was taken to Forum Health Northside Medical Center for evaluation.
