18-year-old Warren man suffers pistol-whipping

WARREN -- An 18-year-old city man refused hospital treatment after he was shot at and pistol-whipped Sunday afternoon.
Rashawn P. Jordan of Tod Avenue Northwest had a cut on the top of his head and scratches on his arms, shoulders and back, but he declined to go to the hospital for treatment, police said.
Jordan told police he was walking on Austin Avenue at Front Street Southwest, when occupants of a van fired shots at him, and two men he knew emerged from the van, chased him, caught him, pistol-whipped him and fled in the van.
