The NCAA Basketball Championship (9 p.m., CBS): Thanks to the exploits of feisty upstarts such as 11th-seeded George Mason, our tourney brackets are in total disarray. But it doesn't matter because three weeks of buzzer-beating thrills and heart-stopping surprises have left us absolutely enthralled. Now, the 65-team field is finally down to the two teams who will be hoping for that one shining moment in Indianapolis. And in this year of crazy unpredictability, we can be sure of only one thing: For the first time in six years, the champion won't be coming from the ACC or Big East conferences. The familiar broadcast duo of Jim Nantz and Billy Packer will once again call the shots. 9 p.m., CBS.
"Fatal Desire" (9 p.m., Lifetime): Lifetime dabbles in film noir with the juicily titled "Fatal Desire" starring Anne Heche and Eric Roberts. After Joe and Tanya meet in an online chat room, he's convinced he's found the woman of his dreams -- which clearly means there are nightmares ahead. Their affair quickly runs into trouble when Joe discovers that his new love is married, a compulsive liar and is about to drag him into scandalous goings-on. Heche, who has a shot at becoming one of Lifetime's top leading ladies (she starred in the channel's "Gracie's Choice"), is popping up regularly on television with work in series including "Nip/Tuck" and "Everwood."
"Call to Greatness" (10:30 p.m., MTV): We can already envision the don't-try-this-at-home disclaimers they'll have to attach to "Call to Greatness." It's a new series that follows five knuckleheads who are on a mission to break as many of the "most insane and ridiculous" feats on record, including "most spitballs taken to the face in one minute" and "furthest spaghetti nasal ejection."
