AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Chauncey Billups helped Detroit earn home-court advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs. Billups scored 35 points against Steve Nash and his 3-pointer with 3:40 remaining put the Pistons (59-14) ahead to stay. Shawn Marion scored 32 for Phoenix, which has lost five of its last nine games.

LOS ANGELES -- Kobe Bryant scored 22 of his 43 points in the third quarter to help Los Angeles beat Houston. The 40-point game was Bryant's 23rd of the season, tying a Lakers record set by Elgin Baylor in the 1962-63 season. Bryant has scored 40 or more four times in his past seven games. Smush Parker had 15 points and 10 assists for Los Angeles. Lamar Odom added 21 points, and Kwame Brown had 10 points. Yao Ming had 33 points and 16 rebounds for the Rockets, but took only eight shots after halftime and scored 13 points. He finished 16-for-25 from the floor.
Mavericks 103, Nuggets 79
DALLAS -- Dirk Nowitzki had 30 points and 12 rebounds to help Dallas snap a season-high three-game losing streak. Jason Terry scored 21 points and Josh Howard added 20 for the Mavericks. Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points, and Andre Miller and Ruben Patterson contributed 14 points each for the Nuggets, who had won four of their previous six.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Ricky Davis made three free throws in the final 12 seconds of overtime and Minnesota hung on to beat Golden State. Marcus Banks scored 24 points to lead the Timberwolves, who had all five starters score in double figures. Davis and Kevin Garnett each had 19 and Mark Blount and Rashad McCants scored 16. Minnesota, which won for the first time in five overtime games this season, has won five straight at home. Jason Richardson scored 33 points and Derek Fisher 22 for Golden State, which has lost four straight, the last three by a combined six points.
Grizzlies 98, Hawks 87
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Chucky Atkins scored 19 points and Mike Miller added 18 to help Memphis beat Atlanta. Pau Gasol added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who snapped a three-game losing skid and won their sixth straight over the Hawks.

PHILADELPHIA -- Allen Iverson scored 32 points and dominated New York for the second straight game. Andre Iguodala added 20 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds for the Sixers, who won their second game in three days over the Knicks. Jamal Crawford scored 23 points to lead the Knicks, who were without injured starters Jalen Rose and Stephon Marbury.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Vince Carter scored 43 points to outduel Dwyane Wade and New Jersey won its 12th straight game. A day after scoring a season-high 44 against Cleveland but losing to the Cavs and LeBron James' 47, Wade scored 32 points to lead Miami, which had won three of its last four games. Carter had 33 points in the second half and helped New Jersey (44-28) pull away from the Heat after Miami scored the first 11 points of the fourth quarter to cut a 16-point deficit to five.

TORONTO -- Chris Paul had 24 points, 12 assists and 12 rebounds for his first career triple-double. David West added 23 points for the Hornets, who have won three straight after losing 12 of 13. The game featured matchup of two of the best rookies in the NBA. Charlie Villanueva had 25 points and a career-high 18 rebounds for Toronto.
Kings 106, Clippers 96
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Ron Artest scored 26 points, Brad Miller had 25 points and nine rebounds and Sacramento beat Los Angeles for the 12th straight time. Mike Bibby had 22 points and seven assists for the Kings, who trailed for just one possession in their 16th consecutive win over the Clippers in Sacramento. Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored 18 points in a reserve role for the Kings, who won their third straight after dropping consecutive home games last week to snap a 14-game winning streak at Arco Arena. Sam Cassell and Chris Kaman scored 20 points apiece for the Clippers, who clinched the sixth winning season in franchise history with a victory over Utah on Friday night.
SuperSonics 122, Trail Blazers 83
SEATTLE -- Ray Allen scored 24 points to lead six Seattle players in double figures and the SuperSonics handed Portland its 11th straight defeat. The 39-point difference was Seattle's largest margin of victory since a 38-point win over San Antonio on April 18, 2001. Seattle led by as many as 42, and kept the Trail Blazers winless since beating Phoenix at home on March 12. The 11 consecutive losses is the third longest streak in franchise history. Portland also lost for the 12th straight time on the road, last winning away from home on Feb. 13 in Charlotte.
