EVENTS SCHEDULE Struthers levy campaign

Members of the eighth-grade advanced English language arts class are waging a campaign for passage of a 6.9-mill school levy. They have scheduled the following activities:
SCHOOL EVENTS
Hat Day: Friday. Pupils pay 50 cents to wear their favorite hat to school.
Twin Day: April 13. Pupils pay 50 cents per person to dress alike in school-appropriate clothing.
Shorts Day: April 28. Pupils pay 50 cents to wear shorts, which can be no higher than 3 inches above the knee.
Got Pride Day: May 2. No cost. Pupils and staff wear the red and black school colors to show school spirit. Face painting or hair coloring are not permitted.
OUT-OF-SCHOOL EVENTS
Carwash and bake sale: Saturday. Auto Zone Car Wash, 4624 Youngstown-Poland Road.
Earth Day cleanup: April 22. Pupils will help clean up litter in the city.
Levy Sign Day: April 29. Seventh- and eighth-graders will stand outside their school building and hold levy signs to raise awareness.
