Girl Scout Troop 224 of Girard will hold a Chinese auction from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Parkwood Youth Center on Trumbull Avenue. More than 50 items autographed by celebrities will be auctioned. Girl Scout cookies and snacks will be sold. Tickets are $1 each, six for $5, 12 for $10 or 25 for $20.
CARDS/BINGO
St. Jude Church, 180 Seventh St., Columbiana, will hold a super bingo at 2 p.m. Sunday. Doors will open at 12:30. The cost of $25 includes all cards for all games; specials will be sold separately. The $3,400 in cash prizes includes a $1,000 coverall. Free coffee, pop and daubers. Lunch of hot dogs and kraut, sloppy joes, pizza and baked goods will be available.FUND-RAISERS
Beatitude House, 287 Lora Ave., and General Motors Lordstown Complex are sponsoring a seventh annual wine taste, dinner and auction at 6 p.m. May 5 at the Maronite Center, 1555 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown. The hostess will be Angee Shaker, WYTV news anchor. The menu will feature beef tenderloin with mushrooms and onions, pasta with vegetables, ricotta-stuffed eggplant, crabmeat-stuffed salmon, chicken and mushroom florentine, redskin potatoes, salad, breadsticks and cakes. The cost is $60 per person ($30 tax deductible) or a table for 8 for $480 ($240 tax deductible). The reservation deadline is April 21. For additional information call (330) 744-3147.
Shrine of Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted, 517 S. Belle Vista Ave., will hold an Easter basket raffle and Chinese auction from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Drawings will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Basket tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Refreshments will be available. Winners need not be present.

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will hold a rummage sale from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, with clothing a $1 a bag on Saturday and everything else half-price. Baked goods will be sold, and hot sandwiches, soups, desserts and beverages will be available Thursday evening and Friday.

Williams-Heath Missionary Society of St. Andrewes AME Church, 521 W. Earle Ave., Youngstown, will hold its 44th annual Pink Tea from 4 to 6 p.m. April 23. The event is free and open to the public. Featured will be a program, refreshments, and complimentary corsages and boutonnieres. Those attending encouraged to wear something pink.
