"So Notorious" (10 p.m., VH1): Television's tabloid darling and "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum Tori Spelling stars in VH1's first scripted comedy series, inspired by Spelling's real life. Loni Anderson plays her mother. The show's other star? Spelling's stylish pet pug, Mimi La Rue. This time, her legendary father, Aaron Spelling, won't be producing (though he does have a role as a God-like voice addressing his "angel" by speakerphone).
"The Sopranos" (9 p.m., HBO): Paulie gets the shock of his life, and, in true Paulie fashion, he can't let it pass quietly.
"Huff" (10 p.m., Showtime): Fans of "Huff" can finally chill out. Hank Azaria's ultra-neurotic shrink returns to kick off the show's second season. As we catch up with him, friends are questioning Huff's sanity following his knock-down-drag-out with Russell. Adding to the madness is Sharon Stone who guest stars as Russell's sexy, high-powered new client.
