XBOARDMAN -- Amy Elizabeth Warden and Alan James Adye were united in marriage by the Rev. Ash Welsch during a 4:30 ceremony Feb. 25 at Boardman United Methodist Church.
After a reception at Fonderlac Country Club, New Springfield, the couple left for St. Lucia. They live at 1419 Clifton St. N.W., Washington.
Parents of the bride are Steven and Sally Warden, 870 Trotwood Drive, and the groom's parents are Sanchia Adye, Anna Maria, Fla., and Peter Adye, Brussels, Belgium.
The bride's strapless, A-line gown of ivory silk featured corded lace appliques at the waist and on the chapel train.
Black gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Katie Warden, and the bridesmaids, Erin Sunseri, Molly Raybuck, Kate Weiss, Peppe Butto, Shannon Moran and Julie Sandmann. Flower girls were Lauren Williams and Allison Adye.
Serving as best man was Derek Adye, and groomsmen were Mike Steward, Kris Langager, Trevor Galko, Mark Sahli, Scott Warden and Jeff Hite. Guests were ushered by Tim Maloney, Jonah Karzmer, Andy Heller and Andre Couvillion.
The bride, a marketing coordinator with Einhorn Yaffee Prescott in Washington, graduated from Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising.
The groom graduated from Miami University in Oxford with a bachelor's in accounting. He is director of member services with the Coalition for Nonprofit Housing and Economic Development in Washington.
