Wolves Club installs officers for coming year at dinner



YOUNGSTOWN -- The installation of officers for the coming year was a highlight of a dinner and meeting held by the Youngstown Wolves Club, Den VI, on Sept. 21 at the Maronite Center.
Atty. A. Ross Douglass of Boardman was inducted as president of the organization.
Seated as his associate officers were Dr. Gary Bitonte, president-elect; Dr. Frank Tarantine, treasurer; Peter Chila, secretary; Frank Ambrosia and Dominic Vechiarelli, members of the board of directors; and Atty. Gregg Rossi, scholarship committee.
Douglass graduated from Boardman High School, completed his juris doctorate degree at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh in 2000 and was admitted to the Ohio bar. He has practiced law in Boardman for the past four years.
The Wolves Club raised more than $20,000 during the past year for its scholarship program at Youngstown State University and for various civic projects.
Over the past 50 years, the organization has contributed more than $400,000 to YSU students and community projects.
