Fair Board
Two people have been newly elected to positions on the Trumbull County Agricultural Society. The Agricultural Society runs the Trumbull County Fair and other events.
New members are Nerissa Roscoe of Gustavus and Melvin Liddle Jr. of Cortland.
They replace Tom Sawyer, a longtime board member and former fair board president, who was defeated in an election; and Theresa Rossi, who chose not to run for re-election.
Three incumbent board members were re-elected. They are Bud Rodgers of Fowler, Chris Barber of Howland and Darlene Brooks of Vernon.
Richard R. Roscoe, fair board president, said an election for new officers of the board will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Trumbull County Fair offices.
