XNASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The verandah at The Hermitage Hotel was the setting at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 27 for the wedding of Stacy Leigh Martin and David Reese Lewis III, both of 408 Chelsey Cove, Franklin, Tenn.
The Rev. Perry Michel presided at the ceremony and a reception was held afterward in the Grand Ballroom of the hotel.
The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Harvey Custer III of 106 Hunters Lane, Florence, Ala., and the late Jerome C. Martin, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. David R. Lewis II, 263 Bradford Drive, Canfield, live in Franklin.
The bride, who was escorted by her son Matthew Womelsdorf, wore a strapless ivory organza gown enhanced with a chocolate satin sash and an heirloom broach, a gift from the groom.
Chocolate brown gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Melissa Martin Jayne, and the bridesmaids, the bride's niece, Hannah Jayne; Lourie Ferrell; Lisa Watterson; and Allison Baggett. Flower girls were the groom's nieces, Casey Stanislaw and Melissa Deville.
The groom's father was best man, and groomsmen were Austin Ort, Sam Gorant, Steve Kirtley, Keith Alleman and John Milenkovich.
The bride, a medical center specialist with Sanofi-Aventis, graduated from the University of North Alabama where she is pursuing a master's degree in nursing.
The groom is employed Pentax Medical Co. He graduated from Bowling Green State University with degrees in construction management and business communication.
