Shades of brown are favored this fall

Fall is probably the most popular season for overhauling a woman's makeup collection. Colors shift from the bronzers, pastels and sheer glossiness of summer to richer colors and either matte or creamy textures.
Several collections are full-on shades of brown, taupe, etc., which are perfect with the season's fashion take on tweeds. Others lean more toward mauve and purple, which also work well with camel in terms of clothing. Most collections are already available with others rolling out fall approaches.
Here's a look at what some of the cosmetics companies are putting on their shelves:
UClinique: Two new products join the Clinique fall lineup: Kohl Shaper for eyes, a two-in-one eyeliner pencil, and Blushing Blush, a powder blusher with an angled brush.
UBeneFit: Colors like Cappuccino, Glazed Pecan and Golden Sands make up the four Roadside Attractions color palettes from BeneFit. Palettes feature either three eye shadows or three lip creams.
UBourjois: It's Tea Time in Paris from Bourjois, with five new products, including a dual-ended eye pencil, two lipstick shades, a trio of eye shadows in one compact and a nail polish called Very Vernis Laque Brune.
UOPI: OPI's fall nail colors get their inspiration from the Windy City with a tribute to Chicago. Of course, this collection wouldn't work without the catchy names, which include The Grape Lakes, My Kind of Brown and Lincoln Park After Dark.
