XLIBERTY -- Jacqueline Celeste Thompson, a daughter of The Rev. Mack S. and Mrs. Charlene Thompson of Youngstown, and Andr & eacute; LeMar Brown, a son of the Rev. Tedd and Charlene Carroll and Gregory and Tracey Brown, all of Akron, were married at 3 p.m. Aug. 27 at First Christian Assembly Church.
The bride's father officiated, and a reception was held at Willow Creek, Girard. They live in Westerville.
The bride wore an ivory satin strapless A-line gown with apple trim, a lace-up back and a sweep train. Her jeweled tiara and veil were created by the groom's grandmother, Edna Rumph.
Wearing apple gowns were the honor attendant, Stephanie Davis, and the bridesmaids, Natasha Biddings, Claire Houpt, Sheree Edwards, Genna Steinbeck, Jessica Sibio, Valuise Rumph, and Jasmine Brown. Flower girls were Lerrica Murray and Gabrielle Williams.
Best men were Jon Adams and Tiron Adams, and groomsmen were Jermaine Harper, Stefan Thompson, Stephen Thompson, Theodore Carroll II, Timothy Carroll and Jered Brown. Ring bearers were Kyr & eacute;e Morgan and Kyler Morgan.
The bride, a medical social worker with Odyssey Healthcare earned a master's in social administration from Case Western Reserve University, a bachelor's in social work from the University Akron, a bachelor's in criminal justice studies from Kent State University. The groom is a senior financial services representative with Nationwide Insurance.
