XSTRUTHERS -- A reception was held Aug. 20 at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman to honor Kevin M. Sferra of Campbell and his bride, the former Gina Vicarel of 128 Wilson St., who were married at 2 p.m. that day at St. Nicholas Church.
The Rev. Phillip Rogers officiated at the wedding for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Monte Vicarel, also of 128 Wilson St., and the son of Tony and Sandy Sferra, 7271 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, Poland.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya in Mexico, the couple live at the groom's address.
The bride's silk over satin strapless A-line gown featured a sweetheart neckline and was adorned with crystals and pearls.
Banana-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Monica Vicarel and Anne Scavnicky, and the bridesmaids, Candace Barak, Jessica Brocious, Jessica Polis, Heather Orenic, Tiffany Mohn, Carrie Tinney and Allyson Polbaro. Flower girl was Kamryn Shives.
David Sferra was best man, and groomsmen were Jerry Scavnicky, Jason DiPasqua, Jamey Palma, Chris Fox, A.J. Venetti, Marc Peahler, Bryan Rauzan and Ed Jasinski. Ring bearer was Vincent Berardi.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is an intern administrator at Autumn Hills Care Center, Niles.
The groom, a police officer with the City of Campbell, pursued a degree in criminal justice at Youngstown State University and graduated from Western Reserve Police Academy.
