Rhein's goal delivers Poland's eighth win

The Bulldogs' 1-0 win over Niles kept them unbeaten in the MAC.
NILES -- Blake Rhein scored the only goal of the game with 6 minutes remaining to give Poland a 1-0 win over Niles in a defensive battle, as the Bulldogs remained unbeaten in the Metro Athletic Conference.
Poland (8-1, 5-0 MAC) took only four shots while Niles had just three
Bulldogs' goalie Caleb Markusic had three saves while his Niles counterpart, Joe Harvey, had three.

EAST PALESTINE -- James Frost scored twice and Cory Leeson added a goal and three assists for the Rebels (10-1-2, 4-0-1 Tri-County League).
Also Greg Bing had a goal and an assist and Aaron Stewart scored.
The Bulldogs (5-2-1) fell behind 2-0 at the break and never recovered.

HUBBARD -- A.J. Pulice registered both goals for Hubbard on assists from Alex Chick and Anthony Greco in a Trumbull Athletic Conference match.
Hubbard (5-4-1, 3-3 TAC) goalie Joe Cummings delivered eight saves.
Liberty (4-5-2, 2-4-1 TAC) goalie Jeremy Hume had four saves.

AUSTINTOWN -- Kelly Schroeder had six goals to lead East Liverpool to a 12-6 win over Youngstown Christian.
Lindsay Muscari added four goals and Joelle Pillan had two at Highway Tabernacle field. Muscari also had an assist.
For Youngstown Christian (3-6), Kara Cooper had three goals and one assist while Alyssa Rojas contributed one goal and one assist and Amber Sausman and Amanda Vestal one goal apiece.
East Liverpool (3-8) goalie Merda Davis had 19 saves while goalie Amanda Vestal of Youngstown Christian had 38 saves

AUSTINTOWN -- Hannah Miller produced three goals to spark Badger while Shannon Sudon had two and Cayla Arnold, Katy Dvorack and Jenna Miller one goal apiece at Highway Tabernacle field.
For Youngstown Christian (3-7), Kara Cooper had one goal and one assist while Arielle Flores, Alyssa Rojas and Chelsey Tate added one goal apiece.
