Woman charged in false use of medical card

BOARDMAN -- A Youngstown woman was charged with several counts related to allegations that she used another woman's medical card to obtain drugs.
Gloria J. Robinson, 42, of Mistletoe Avenue, was charged with forgery and deception to obtain drugs, both felonies, and misdemeanor counts of possession of drugs and identity theft.
Police were called Saturday to Forum Health Beeghly Medical Center, Market Street, and spoke to two nurses who reported the incident. The nurses said Robinson came into the facility registered under another name.
Robinson then said she was an age that was different from what was shown on the medical card that she presented. She got a prescription for Vicodin from a doctor and initially signed a name on the release form that was different from what was on the medical card.
After she left the hospital, the nurses called police, who found Robinson at Walgreen's, Market Street, where she was trying to get the prescription filled.
