Task force lauds work in homicide cases



WARREN -- The Trumbull County Homicide Task Force, at its recent annual dinner, honored agencies and individuals for work on homicide cases.
Honored were Lt. Richard Baron and Sgt. Gerald Funelli of the Ohio State Highway Patrol; Capt. Richard Tisone and Detective Sgt. Donald Mills of Liberty Township Police Department; and Detective Sgt. Jeff Cole and Sgt. William Bolden of the Warren Police Department.
Also recognized for years of service and assistance to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office was James W. Wurster, laboratory director of the Ohio Attorney General's Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation. He has been called upon to testify in many Trumbull County cases as a forensic scientist specializing in serology and fibers at the Richfield laboratory for 27 years.
