Sci Fi Channel to air 'Night Stalker' marathon

A marathon airing of Darren McGavin's 1970s original series of "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" (Thursday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Sci Fi) offers a handy compare and contrast, airing the same day as the debut of the new remake "Night Stalker" (Thursday at 9 p.m., ABC).
McGavin's cult-fave classic comes out on DVD on Oct. 4.
