XCANFIELD -- The wedding of Kelly Takach and Richard Plant II, both of 27 Pineview Drive, took place at 1 p.m. Aug. 20 at Canfield Christian Church and was followed by a reception at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman.
The Rev. Jay Eastman presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Lawrence and Evelyn Takach, 5610 Colgate Drive, Austintown, and the son of Richard and Debra Plant, 506 N. St. Clair, Girard.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya and Cancun, Mexico, the couple live at the Pineview Drive address.
The bride's white gown featured beaded cap sleeves and bodice and a chapel train. She held a bouquet of peach daisies and roses.
Sea mist gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Chrissy Ross of Austintown, and the bridesmaids, Jackie Bilger of Columbus, Kelli Soda of Struthers, and the bride's sister, Michelle Gorgie of Austintown. Flower girl was the groom's niece, Sophia Guerrieri of Girard.
Best man was Matt Weiss of Girard, and groomsmen were Corey DeAngelis and Keith Schubert, both of Girard, and Todd Williams of Liberty. Ring bearer was Dylan Gorgie of Austintown, the bride's nephew.
The bride graduated from Western Reserve Care System School of Radiologic Technology and is a CAT Scan technician with Robinson Memorial Hospital, Ravenna.
The groom, a sheetmetal worker with Local 33, is employed at Aerotech Mechanical in Boardman.
