Junior Achievement recognizes 2 directors



GIRARD -- Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley Inc. is recognizing two members on its board of directors for exceptional service and volunteerism.
They are Bruce Sherman, president of Sherman Creative Promotion; and Karen Fox, coordinator of Customer and Community Service at Ohio Edison.
JA is dedicated to educating students from kindergarten through 12th grade about the free enterprise system. Programs focus on key areas of business, citizenship, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics and character, financial literacy and career development. The organization involves some 7,000 students in the Mahoning Valley.
Debby Doyle Bradley has been hired as president of Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley Inc. She has a bachelor's degree in secondary education/English from Slippery Rock University. She has held positions with the American Lung Association of Ohio, the Arthritis Foundation of Northeastern Ohio and Penn Lakes Girl Scout Council.
New officers are John Church, Key Bank, chairman of the board; Caren Dalton, fund development chairman; Betty Joy Licata, Youngstown State University Williamson College of Business, board and administration chairwoman; Justin McCarty, JP Morgan-Chase Bank North America, program and volunteer chairman; Mary Lou Pisani, Hill, Barth and King, treasurer; and Dave Roberts, First National Bank, secretary.
