Hours and admission: The museum opens Oct. 1. Hours will be Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adults, $4; seniors, $2; children 4 to 12, $1.
Getting there: From I-25 take the Alameda Blvd. exit. Drive about 1 mile west on Alameda. Balloon Museum Drive is on the North side of Alameda. That will take you directly to the parking lot.
