Dutton leads Girard's 27-0 rout over Brookfield

GIRARD -- Brad Dutton rushed for 226 yards on 27 carries, which included touchdown runs of 22, 1 and 22 yards as Girard shutout Brookfield 27-0 Friday in a Trumbull Athletic Conference game.
Dutton scored twice in the second quarter to give the Indians (2-3, 1-1) a 14-0 lead at intermission.
Tim Doran, who gained 115 yards on 22 carries, scored on a 1-yard run for the Indians in the fourth quarter.
The Indians gained 341 yards on 49 rushes and they hit on 7-of-13 passes for 72.
Brookfield (2-3, 1-1) picked up 91 yards on 18 rushes and the Warriors connected on 11-of-25 passes for 47.
Lakeview 20, LaBrae 6
LEAVITTSBURG -- Brent Socie ran 15 times for 110 yards for Lakeview.
Andrew Bailey rushed for a 4-yard touchdown as the Vikings (2-3, 0-2 TAC) took a 6-0 lead at the break.
Matt Kohuth, who gained 71 yards on 21 tries, ran for a pair of short touchdowns in the third quarter for the Bulldogs (4-1, 2-0).
Kevin Albert found Jon Biehl for a 28-yard touchdown aerial in the final quarter for Lakeview.
Anthony Click gained 51 yards on nine carries to lead LaBrae.
