"Catch Me If You Can" (8 p.m., ABC): Based on the unlikely but true story of a young man who posed as all sorts of people to defraud the rich, this 2002 movie was directed by Steven Spielberg. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as the con man, and Tom Hanks is the FBI man in often-frustrated pursuit.
"I, Robot" (8 p.m., HBO): By the year 2035, humans are served by robots that are built so they can't harm people. So when a robot becomes a murder suspect, everybody starts to worry that the "laws" of robot construction may not be working. Will Smith stars in this 2004 movie as an investigator who never liked robots to begin with.
"Path of Destruction" (9 p.m., Sci-Fi): Though Danica McKellar has been working steadily in recent years, she hasn't hit on anything to overshadow the youth she spent on "The Wonder Years." Will a movie about yet another scientific experiment gone wrong change that? Sadly, we're not betting on it.
"The Incredibles" (9 p.m., Starz): Saturday night seems a good time for some animated action that isn't rated R (or even PG-13). This 2004 movie involves a family of superheroes trying to live in anonymity. But fate draws the restless head of the clan back into action. Among the actors providing voices are Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jason Lee.
"48 Hours Mystery" (10 p.m., CBS): In the season premiere, an accused serial killer's trial is disrupted when one of the presumed victims suddenly shows up. Sounds like something that might happen in an episode of "Boston Legal," only this stuff is real.
