Angela Barwick to be bride of John Messenger

XYOUNGSTOWN -- David and Gloria Barwick, 3137 Oran Drive, and Atty. James and Barbara Messenger, 1811 Bears Den Road, are announcing the engagement of their children Angela J. Barwick of the Oran Drive address and John C. Messenger of Boardman.
The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor's degrees in professional writing and editing and in combined sciences, and a master's degree in English. She is an English instructor at YSU and at Kent State University Trumbull Campus in Warren.
The prospective groom served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps with the security forces/infantry and majored in accounting at YSU where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is a financial center manager at the Columbiana Branch of Sky Bank.
The couple have chosen 2 p.m. Nov. 19 for their wedding at St. Patrick Church. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for an evening reception at Ciminero's Banquet Centre in Niles.
