"Three Wishes" (9 p.m., NBC): Mean-spirited reality shows are so not cool anymore. Now the key words in the genre are "wish fulfillment" (See: "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."). And thus we have "Three Wishes," a new series hosted by singer Amy Grant that travels from town to town and bestows good deeds on deserving people. First stop: Sonora.
"Viva Baseball" (9 p.m., Spike): This is an absorbing new two-hour documentary that examines the remarkable impact Latinos have had on Major League baseball and the hardships many of them endured in making the transition to a new country. The film features interviews with many of today's top stars, including Pedro Martinez and Miquel Tejada, as well as Hall-of-Famers such as Juan Marichal, Rod Carew and Orlando Cepeda.
