XVIENNA -- A trip to Amsterdam, Prague and Vienna followed the wedding of Rebecca Clayman and Matthew Smith, both of Los Angeles, that took place Aug. 28 at Squaw Creek Country Club.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows during a 5:30 p.m. ceremony solemnized by Rabbi David Steinhardt, and a reception was held immediately afterward at the club.
The bride, a daughter of Sherri and Gary Clayman, 99 Oriole Drive, Youngstown, and the groom, a son of Edward and Peggy Smith, 32760 Shadowbrook Drive, Solon, live in Los Angeles.
The bride's strapless A-line gown was enhanced with Chantilly lace and featured an ivory organza over twill organza chapel train. She held a bouquet of cymbidium orchids.
Merlot gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Sarah Clayman, and the bridesmaids, Halley Firstenberg, a sister of the groom; Gabrielle Steinhardt; Lindsay Perlman; Lauren Friedman; and Lindy Kramer. Flower girl was Morrisa Clayman, the bride's cousin.
Justin Falcon performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Andrew Gluck, Jason Fink, Jeremy Umansky, and the groom's brother-in-law, Joshua Firstenberg.
The bride attended Ohio University and graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in political science. She will attend graduate school in the fall of 2006.
The groom is a talent manager with ESI Network. He earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Ohio University.
