Quartetto returns

Quartetto returns
WARREN -- Warren Civic Music Association's second concert of the season is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18. Returning to Packard Music Hall is Quartetto Gelato, who will present the "Neapolitan Nights" program.
The Canadian quartet brings back its unique blend of violin, oboe, cello and accordion, along with some great tenor vocals, as it presents beautiful Italian melodies, arias and love songs.
A limited number of adult tickets for this concert will be available for $21.50, and student tickets are $6.50. To order tickets, phone the Music Hall Box Office at (330) 841-2931.
Quartetto Gelato not only thrills its audiences with the mastery of eight instruments, but offers the unexpected bonus of a brilliant operatic tenor. With a performance repertoire that travels between classical masterworks, operatic arias and the energy of tangos, gypsy and folk songs, the group's relaxed stage presence and humor establishes an immediate rapport with traditional and nontraditional classical audiences.
