XCANFIELD -- The Rev. Terry Hazel solemnized the marriage of Jennifer Smelko and Mike Kutsko, both of Berlin Center, during a 1 p.m. ceremony Aug. 20 at St. Michael Church.
The couple accepted congratulations at Ciminero's in Niles where a reception was held in their honor. After a honeymoon cruise to the southern Caribbean, they live at 4765 Bedell Road, Berlin Center.
Parents of the bride are Gene and Donna Smelko, 1295 N. Medina Line Road, Bath, and the groom's parents are Carl and Cindy Kutsko, 11105 N. Palmyra Road, North Jackson.
Rhinestones enhanced the bride's strapless white gown, and the skirt flowed into a chapel train.
Lisa Scharrer and Kristen Smelko served as honor attendants for their sister, and the bridesmaids were Nicole Pascarella, Magg Hare, Stephanie Sams, Cara Richendollar and Alycia Katynski, the bride's cousin. They wore candy apple red gowns.
Sharing the duties of best man were Scott Hare and Roy Shook, and groomsmen were Josh Groves, Ron Knight, Scott Owen and the bride's brother-in-law, Jim Scharrer. Ring bearer was Gabe Hare, and ushers were John Bianchi and Anthony Ricciardi.
The bride is employed in customer relations with Dominion in Akron.
The groom is employed by Fyda Freightliners of Austintown in customer service.
