Youngstown police probe two shootings

YOUNGSTOWN -- Police are investigating two shootings in the city Monday evening. According to police reports, a 34-year-old employee at Community Corrections Association on Market Street was hit by a stray bullet at about 9:41 p.m.
Reports say the man was taking residents at the center for a smoke break when several shots were heard. The man told officers he heard a bullet fly by, hit the building then hit his chest. The bullet did not break the man's skin.
Police were also investigating another late-night shooting on the city's South Side. Police did not have any details late Monday, but did say the man shot was in stable condition at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
