XYOUNGSTOWN -- St. Patrick Church was the setting Aug. 27 for the wedding of Emily Katherine Holden, a daughter of Charles and Miriam Holden, 6920 Winterpark Ave., Austintown, and Jos & eacute; Luis Martinez, a son of Rosa C. Kolman, 5357 Oakcrest Ave., and the late Louis F. Kolman.
The Rev. Edward Noga presided at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held for the couple at the Lockwood House in Boardman. After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the newlyweds live at 5622 Baylor Ave., Austintown.
The bride's pearl-colored, off-the-shoulder gown was adorned with pearl embroidery and featured a box-pleated hoop skirt and a cathedral train.
Wearing cranberry-colored gowns were the bride's sister and honor attendant, Rebecca Shrake; the bridesmaids, her sister, Amy Holden, Michelle Terpak, Sara Gleydura, Allison Poole and Miki Pavlik; and junior bridesmaid, Sarah Hart, the bride's cousin. Flower girl was her niece, Katherine Shrake.
Connor Sullivan, the bride's brother, was best man, and groomsmen were Gustavo Martinez, the groom's brother; Scott and Todd Holden, brothers of the bride; Matthew Shrake, her brother-in-law; and Kevin Pavlik.
A graduate of Kent State University with a degree in justice studies, the bride is a service and support administrator with Summit County Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities in Akron.
The groom is a baker with the Italian Baking Co.
