XBOARDMAN -- Elaine Marie Darkadakis of Lowellville, a daughter of Marlene and Ned Shippoli of Austintown, and Martyn Paul Moss, a son of Charles and Mary Moss, all of Boardman, were married at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at St. Charles Church.
The Rev. Daniel Venglarik and the groom's brother, Deacon Charles Moss III, presided at the ceremony. A reception followed at The Georgetown.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia Sandals Grande Resort in the Caribbean, the couple live in Boardman.
The bride's white satin halter-style gown featured an A-line skirt and cathedral train and was embellished with crystals, rhinestones and silver embroidery.
Ashley Shippoli and Melina Yukon were honor attendants, and bridesmaids were Jessica Moss, Kaitlyn Moss, Angel West, Heather Liptak and Annie Crawford. They wore eggplant-purple gowns. Flower girls were Ashley and Alyssa Mockensturm and Tephan Yukon.
Ed Moss was best man, and groomsmen were Scott Crawford, William Crawford, Michael Mockensturm, Erik Moss, Anthony Grover and Charlie Silverstein. Ring bearer was David Yukon.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University and Ohio College of Massotherapy.
The groom served four years with the U.S. Air Force and has a management degree from YSU. The newlyweds are employed at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
