XYOUNGSTOWN -- A honeymoon in Hawaii followed the Aug. 20 wedding of Michelle Marie Malinowski and Chad Walker, both of Charlotte, N.C., at 2 p.m. at St. Christine Church.
The marriage was solemnized by the Rev. David Rhodes, and the couple were honored during a reception at Mahoning Country Club, Girard.
Parents of the bride are Joseph and Patricia Malinowski, 3380 Johnson Farm Court, Canfield, and the groom's parents are Jack Walker of Orrville and Kay and Scott Gift of Westerville.
The bride's strapless A-line gown of white organza was enhanced with beaded embroidery and featured a cathedral train.
Cheryl Siegfried, the honor attendant, wore a black gown, as did the bridesmaids, Paula Mounts, Amy McCarthy and the groom's sister, Wendy Walker. Flower girls, Brianna Malinowski, the bride's niece, and Lauren Siegfried wore white dresses.
Serving as best men were the groom's father, Jack Walker, and Scott Walker, his brother. Groomsmen were the bride's brother, Mike Malinowski, and the groom's brother, Taylor Gift. Ring bearers were the bride's nephew, Branden Malinowski, and the groom's nephew, Austin Walker.
The bride and groom graduated from Kent State University with bachelor's degrees, hers in marketing and his in finance. She is a rental manager with Prudential Carolinas Realty in Charlotte, and he is a senior compliance officer with Bank of America, also in Charlotte.
