XLOWELLVILLE -- Italy was the honeymoon destination of Andrew Carchedi and his bride, the former Melissa Berry, after their Aug. 12 wedding at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
The Rev. Gerald DeLucia officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held for the couple at St. Nicholas Byzantine Center at the Grove in Youngstown.
The bride, a daughter of Bruce and Patricia Berry of 45 Lakeshore Drive, Struthers, and the groom, a son of Tom and Marie Carchedi, 383 Sexton St., Struthers, live at 46 W. Walnut.
The bride's strapless white satin gown featured a beaded lace overlay, split-front skirt and a sweep train.
Pink-and-white gowns were worn by the bride's sisters and honor attendants, Laura and Emily Berry, and the bridesmaids, Jennifer Mansfield, the bride's cousin; Casey Horvath; Jessica Cene; Kristen Sloan; Allison Coppola; and Melodie Campana.
Tommy Carchedi was his brother's best man, and groomsmen were Steven Carchedi, Jimmy Carchedi and Matthew Carchedi, his cousins; Ken Bigley; Tony Bozzacco; Pat Campbell; and Steve Procick.
The bride graduated from Ohio University in Athens with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is an accountant with Hill, Barth and King LLC in Boardman.
The groom, a milieu therapist with Forum Health in Youngstown, graduated from Hiram College with a bachelor's degree.
