XCORTLAND -- The marriage of Laura Ann Zirounis, 239 Melrose Ave., Boardman, and Todd Richard Szabo, 3054 Elm Road, was solemnized by the Rev. Duane Jesse at 5 p.m. Aug. 12 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
A reception was held at Squaw Creek Country Club in Vienna for the daughter of Maurice and Charlotte DeNuccio, 1643 Katherine St., New Castle, Pa., and the son of Richard and Carolyn Szabo, also of 3054 Elm Road.
After a wedding trip to upstate Minnesota, they live at the Melrose Avenue address.
The bride's strapless A-line gown of taffeta was adorned with crystals and blue beads.
Wearing light-blue gowns were Amy Heasley, Lesli Newman, Jill Telesz and Lisa Spencer, the honor attendants. Flower girl was Samantha DeNuccio, the bride's niece.
Randy Griffiths was best man, and groomsmen were Ralph Royea, John Mohney and the groom's cousin, Tony Frasca. The groom's nephew, Jordan Szabo was ring bearer.
The bride, a registered nurse, graduated from Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She is a a clinical nurse manager with HM Home Care in Girard and is attending Pennsylvania State University, Shenango Valley Campus, in Sharon.
The groom graduated from Kent State University, East Liverpool Campus, with an associate degree in physical therapy and is a physical therapy assistant with HM Home Care. A 16-year member of the Army Reserves, he is a veteran of Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom.
