XPOLAND -- Kelly Cristen Kiefer, a daughter of Paul and Beatrice Kiefer of Poland, and David John Massare Jr., a son of David and Patty Massare of Poland, were united in marriage Aug. 13 at Holy Family Church.
The Rev. Michael Swierz officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held later that day at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
After a honeymoon on the Hawaiian island of Maui, the couple live in Sagamore Hills.
Sequins and pearls trimmed the bodice, waist and hemline of the bride's white satin strapless gown, and the A-line skirt flowed into a chapel train.
Elizabeth McElhaney, the honor attendant, wore a cornflower-blue gown, as did the bridesmaids, Mandy Sinchak, Meghan Duffy, Lisa Gomon and the bride's cousins, Brittany Marlowe and Alyssa Tesone.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, Daniel Massare, and groomsmen were Mark Frankenburg, Joseph McCree, Xavier Staggs, Joseph McIltrot and Brad Jones. Ushers were Jim Geskey, Gino Ori and the bride's cousins, Daniel Marlowe and Anthony Tesone.
The bride, a credit analyst with MBNA in Beachwood, graduated from John Carroll University in University Heights with a bachelor's degree in business management.
A licensed financial consultant with National City Bank in Shaker Heights, the groom graduated from Miami University in Oxford with a bachelor's degree in finance and statistics.
