XCANFIELD -- The Rev. Don Christensen solemnized the marriage of Julie Swartz and Bryan Dinges, both of Columbus, at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at Canfield United Methodist Church.
The couple accepted congratulations at a reception held at Salem Golf Club before leaving on a cruise to the western Caribbean. They live in Columbus.
The bride is a daughter of Lois Swartz of Canfield and Robert Swartz of McKinney, Texas, and the groom's parents are Drema Webb of Soldier, Ky., and Gary Dinges of Mansfield.
The bride's sleeveless gown of ivory matte satin was adorned with beadwork, and the skirt flowed into a semicathedral train.
Light-pink gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Kelly Radomski; the bridesmaids, Katie Hanuscak, Laura Vehorn and Allison Bair, the bride's stepsister, and the junior bridesmaid, Amanda Ghighi, her cousin. Flower girl was the groom's stepniece, Alleya Bennett.
Serving as best man was Jonathan Spryn, and groomsmen were Chris Dinges, the groom's brother; Jeff Swartz, brother of the bride; and Justin Richardson. Junior groomsman was Grant Ghighi, and ring bearer was Nathan Ghighi, cousins of the bride.
The bride, a communication and technology specialist at Franklin University in Columbus, graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in scientific and technical communication.The groom earned a degree in communication at BGSU and is an account executive with Konica Minolta in Dublin, Ohio.
