Mahoning County
A Mahoning County grand jury has indicted Elbert W. Shuler, 42, of Carroll Street, Youngstown, on an aggravated murder charge. He is accused in the March 16 homicide of Harold "Ollie" Shuler, 29, of the South Side. Police said Shuler was shot twice on Myrtle Avenue. Records do not indicate whether they were related. The following people also were indicted:
William R. Mayor, 28, Akron, two counts felonious assault, aggravated burglary.
Joseph L. Moreland, 23, Mistletoe Avenue, Youngstown, heroin possession.
Leon M. Hird, 25, East Calla Road, Poland, cocaine possession.
Sammy Lee Cage, 48, East Boston Avenue, Youngstown, failure to notify change of address.
Robert Bell, 45, Hylda Avenue, Youngstown, cocaine possession.
Jessie B. LeFlore, 22, East Midlothian Boulevard, Youngstown, cocaine possession.
Chase J. Dobson, 21, East Middletown Road, New Middletown, two counts illegal processing of drug documents, forgery, drug possession.
Kevin M. Daniels, 44, West Chalmers Avenue, Youngstown, illegal weapons possession, carrying a concealed weapon.
Arthur Davis Jr., 41, Wardle Avenue, Youngstown, illegal use of food stamps.
Patricia Young, 52, Woodcrest Avenue, Youngstown, theft, tampering with records, falsification.
Cathy McMinn, 34, Dublin, theft, tampering with records, falsification.
Diane D. Gibbs, 34, Dublin, theft, tampering with records, falsification.
Kevin M. Fisher, 24, Massillon, unlawful sexual contact with a minor.
Richard J. Shutrump, 39, Lealand Avenue, Boardman, intimidation.
Forrest A. Rupp, 25, Mahoning County jail, two counts vandalism, disrupting public services.
The grand jury also issued two secret indictments -- one for two counts of trafficking in drugs, one for trafficking in drugs and three counts of trafficking in cocaine. The names of people secretly indicted aren't made public until they are arrested.
