Sept. 9
Theft: A man reported losing his cellular phone while at Michael's Tavern, 862 N. Main St., and discovered someone was using it.
Sept. 10
Assault: A Hubbard man told officers he was assaulted while at a Pothour-Wheeler Road residence.
Sept. 11
Assault: An East Liberty Street boy reported an assault.
Theft: A man in the 40 block of Orchard Avenue discovered his vehicle's temporary tag missing.
Arson: A Mackey Street woman discovered someone set fire to a wicker table on her porch.
Sept. 12
Theft: A man in the 40 block of Princeton Avenue discovered a piece of mail missing from his mailbox.
Arrest: Police arrested a Campbell man and a Hubbard woman after a Christian Avenue man reported someone was in his front yard wanting to fight his brother.
Sept. 13
Theft: Police found a gas pump on the ground after a customer drove away from a Shell station, 204 W. Liberty St., without paying.
Sept. 14
Arrest: Liberty police had in custody at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, a Hubbard woman wanted on a warrant from Hubbard charging her with failure to appear on a theft count.

Sept. 9
Aggravated menacing: A man in the 900 block of Colonial Drive called police after a Youngstown woman age 30 to 35 came to his home and tapped a sliding-glass door with a revolver. The victim also said the woman threatened to kill him.
Theft: A Girard woman told police she gave a 38-year-old Youngstown man $4,500 to invest and that, after she became suspicious of the investment and wanted her money back, the man failed to return it.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 1600 block of Darlington Avenue found damage to a bathroom window.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 900 block of Adrian Circle noticed someone shot her home with a paintball gun.
Theft: A Youngstown woman discovered $500 was removed from her account at Sky Bank, 3495 Belmont Ave.
Theft: A Girard woman visiting a residence on Bel Air Drive discovered a validation sticker missing from her car.
Theft: A motorist left a Shell True North station, 3990 Belmont Ave., without paying for $40 worth of gasoline.
Assault: Police apprehended a 37-year-old Youngstown man at his Trumbull Court residence on an assault charge after officers say they found a woman with bite marks she alleged the man inflicted on her left biceps, arms and hands.

Criminal damaging: A Thomas Lane man reported someone shot paintballs at two vehicles as well as at his residence, causing $100 worth of damage to a screen.
Counterfeit: An employee at a Rite Aid Pharmacy, 2704 Belmont Ave., called police after a man and a woman reportedly tried to buy items with two counterfeit $20 bills.
Arrest: Officers picked up a Youngstown man, 48, near Interstate 80 and state Route 304. He was wanted on a felony warrant charging him with theft.

Breaking and entering: A man taking care of a residence in the 6100 block of Sodom-Hutchings Road discovered the home had been ransacked after someone broke in through a first-floor side window and stole two rifles. The loss came to $3,000.
Criminal damaging: Someone damaged a pay phone in the 1400 block of Church Hill-Hubbard Road by prying it open.
Arrest: Police responded to Rite Aid Pharmacy regarding a report of someone trying to pass a phony prescription for Hydrocodone. There, they arrested a 27-year-old Girard man on charges of illegal processing of drug documents, a felony, and possession of a dangerous drug, a misdemeanor.
Sept. 14
Domestic violence: Officers arrested a boy, 16, at his Naylor-Lloyd Road home on a domestic-violence count. The boy's mother alleged he pushed her against a counter several times during an argument.
Domestic violence: Police charged an 18-year-old man with domestic violence at his Scott Lane residence. His girlfriend alleged he grabbed her by the shoulder and struck the side of her face during an argument.
Arrest: Police arrested a 51-year-old Youngstown man at a BP gas station, 2703 Belmont Ave., on charges of receiving stolen property and having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle. Officers say the suspect had in his wallet a woman's stolen driver's license.
Arrest: When responding to a possible fight near Roosevelt Drive, police arrested a man, 20, and a boy, 16, both from Youngstown. The man was charged with breaking and entering and receiving stolen property after several football players at Liberty High School, 1 Leopard Way, discovered property missing from their locker room.
Theft: An employee at Consumer Car Co. Inc., 5925 Belmont Ave., reported the theft of $100 worth of gasoline.
Theft: A woman noticed a license plate was stolen off her vehicle at her residence in the 100 block of Montrose Street.
Sept. 15
Arrest: After responding to a disturbance near Rite Aid, police arrested a 27-year-old Youngstown man on charges of disorderly conduct while intoxicated, obstructing official business, domestic violence and resisting arrest. Police say he yelled profanities at several people while refusing to cooperate and that, earlier, his wife had alleged the suspect shoved and head-butted her during an altercation.
Auto theft/recovered property: Weathersfield police recovered a 1993 Chevrolet Astro van after a man in the 1300 block of West Montrose Street reported it stolen. The van's steering column was damaged.
