Boardman beat Massillon Perry for its first Federal League victory.
CANFIELD -- Brittany Gregory had 19 kills, four aces and four blocks to lead Salem High over Canfield in a Metro Athletic Conference volleyball match Thursday.
Salem won by scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-18, 19-25, 15-13.
Sarah Brobeck added 16 kills and three blocks for Salem (6-3, 4-0 MAC), while Leah Perry had six kills and seven blocks, and Taylor Toothman 43 assists.
For Canfield (4-4, 2-1), Natasha Kassim collected 17 kills, Jackie Nentwick had 12 digs and 11 blocks, and Kate Heagerty had 40 assists.

HOWLAND -- Taylor Summerfield had six points, three aces, five kills, 24 assists and three saves for the Tigers (7-1, 4-0 MAC).
