Man reports robbery in apartment lot

BOARDMAN -- Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Lemans Drive man that occurred outside of his apartment complex.
The 50-year-old victim, who wasn't injured, told police that when he arrived home shortly after midnight Wednesday from his job at a Youngstown convenience store, he was approached by a man wearing a ski mask and armed with a handgun.
The masked gunman ordered the victim to the ground and took his wallet, which contained credit cards and about $50 cash.
He told police that he also saw a dark-colored car nearby with two occupants, one of whom also had a handgun.
The robber searched the victim for more money and fled in the dark car upon finding none.
