Commissioners handled these issues Thursday:
Approved a memorandum of understanding with area county court judges for a temporary position through the facilities management department to clean and maintain the four county area courts through year's end. The courts will use probation fees to fund the position.
Approved an $18,992 change order for Shelly Co. of Thornville for additional paving materials for the Shields Road-Tippecanoe Road intersection.
Approved closing Knauf Road between U.S. Route 224 and Berlin Station Road in Ellsworth Township on Tuesday-Wednesday to replace a culvert.
Approved closing Seacrist Road between state Route 165 and Middletown Road in Goshen Township on Monday-next Friday to replace a culvert.
Set the next meeting for 6 p.m. Monday at the Beloit Village Hall Fire Station, East Fifth Street in Beloit.
