Best Bets on TV Tonight

"Survivor: Guatemala" (8 p.m., CBS): The series returns for its 11th installment, this time stranding the contestants amid ruins of the Maya Empire in Guatemala. As usual, there will be two teams and a $1 million prize for the "Ultimate Survivor" who avoids elimination. Jeff Probst returns as host.
"Celebrity A-List Bloopers" (8 p.m., ABC): Just one more in the endless string of blooper shows, but this one may cause a bit of confusion. Since it's never aired before and Dick Clark is the host, does it mean that Clark is back on stage after suffering a stroke? No. The show was taped a long time ago, in March 2004, about nine months before Clark became ill.
"Man With the Screaming Brain" (9 p.m., Sci-Fi): Bruce Campbell, who has plenty of experience with this sort of thing as an actor, makes his directorial debut and also stars in this movie, which was seen in theaters in a limited release during the summer. He plays a man who shares a brain with another, thanks to a mad scientist.
"Primetime" (9 p.m., ABC): The blended families of the 21st century are light-years away from the simplicity of "The Brady Bunch." Diane Sawyer explores the complexities of relationships between stepparents and stepchildren in this two-hour program.
"The Showbiz Show" (10:30 p.m., Comedy Central): The Sultan of Snarkiness, David Spade, plies his snide skills for a worthy cause -- uncovering show business. Featuring guest stars and comic-correspondents, it promises to cut through industry hype. The host is Spade, late of the sitcom "Just Shoot Me" and, as a "Saturday Night Live" regular, author of the immortal catch phrase, "Buh-BYE."
