WARREN -- Sophomore Kristen Albrecht was among a group of four individuals to finish second, one shot behind Oakland's Christina Cibrario in the final round of the YSU/Taco Bell Golf Invitational Tuesday at Avalon South Golf Course.
Cibrario was four shots behind the first-round leaders before carding a 75 and rallying for the victory with a total of 153. Albrecht, Bowling Green's Kari Liggett and Jessica McCann and Oakland's Stacey Goins tied for second with 154s.
In the team race, Bowling Green held off Oakland finishing with a two-round total of 615, while the Golden Grizzlies had a 623. YSU was third with a 641 while St. Francis (Pa.) was fourth (650), Detroit was fifth (653), IPFW was sixth (662), Cleveland State placed seventh (663), Walsh was eighth (672), Robert Morris was ninth (678) and Mercyhurst was 10th (697).
Albrecht carded rounds of 75 and 79. Other YSU finishers were Bonnie Sherman, ninth with a 156, sophomore Brittany Jones, 10th with a 157 (77-80), sophomore Felicia Ciotola carded a 165 (87-78), sophomore Adrianna DiLonardo tied for 30th with a 166 (80-86), freshman Amanda Brindley, 38th with a 171 (84-87) and freshman Mollie Boney, 41st , 174 (86-88).

Sullivan namedto Ray Guy list
AKRON -- Billy Sullivan, a senior punter for the University of Akron football team from Niles High, is one of 40 punters who have been named to the 2005 Ray Guy Award watch list, the Augusta Sports Council announced Tuesday.
Sullivan, a three-year starter for Akron, averaged 43.3 yards for six punts in the Zips' season opener last week against Purdue.
Last year, he averaged 40.2 yards for 63 punts, 11 of them being downed inside the 20. As a sophomore, he averaged 42.2 yards in 41 punts.
The Ray Guy Award watch list will be narrowed to 10 semifinalists to be announced in early November. A national selection committee then will vote for three finalists. The winner will be announced Dec. 8 as part of the Home Depot College Football Awards Show in Orlando, Fla.
Hall lost for season
BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- Brian Hall, a senior linebacker for the Geneva College football team, suffered a broken fibula in his right leg in the Golden Tornadoes' 20-14 win over Bethel (Tenn.) Saturday, and will be sidelined for the rest of the season.
Hall, Geneva's leading tackler the past three years, entered this season ranked No. 6 in career tackles with 105.
Because Hall's injury occurred in the second game of the season (Geneva is 2-0), he will be able to take a medical redshirt for this year and return to the team next season.
Red Bulls to playColumbus Cowboys
YOUNGSTOWN - The Ohio Red Bulls, winners of the AFC title, will take on the NFC champion Columbus Cowboys Sept. 24 for the United States Football Alliance League super bowl title.
The Bulls, who topped the Beaver County Warriors 15-13 for the AFC crown, finished the regular season with a 7-5-1 record.
In the victory over the Warriors, running back Abdul Jordan scored on a 74-yard in the second quarter to give the Bulls a 6-0 lead.
Chawn Edmondson caught a 30-yard TD pass from quarterback Ray Marrow and John Galbraith kicked an extra point to give the Bulls a 13-0 lead at halftime.
Bill Miller kicked a 27-yard field goal in the third quarter to push the Bulls' lead to 16-6.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Derrell Johnson, quarterback for the Mooney High football team, has been named Steel Valley Conference football player of the week.
The 6-foot-3 junior rushed for 100 yards and passed for 115 yards and two touchdowns in the Cardinals' 42-14 victory over East Cleveland Shaw last Friday.
Pintaric winsdriving class
Bill Pintaric, Jr. of Liberty, driving a Nissan 200sx, completed the Sports Car Club of America season, as he finished first in the GT class for the second consecutive time.
David Pintaric of Canfield, driving a Corvette in Touring One, finished fourth in the division.
Csaba Bujdovo of Canfield finished seventh in A Sedan and was also 11th in GT-1. Ashen Yelkin of Canfield, finished second and Atahan Koymen of Youngstown finished third in Atlantic class.
