Youngstown cops investigate shooting

YOUNGSTOWN -- Police are investigating a shooting that sent Dennis Hubbert, 23, of Delaware Avenue to St. Elizabeth Health Center where he was treated for a gunshot wound to the back.
Hubbert told police he was shot in his car near the intersection of Fairgreen and Fifth avenues shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday. He said he drove to a friend's house and had the friend drive him to the hospital.
Around the same time, police got a call from a man who said that he lives in the 700 block of Fairgreen and that someone was shooting at his home.
Police said they found holes in the front of the house and a number of spent shell casings at the scene. No suspects were identified and no arrests were made.
