CANFIELD
Sept. 8
Knife on school property: An 18-year-old Youngstown man was arrested on a charge of illegal conveyance of a deadly weapon when police found a three-and-a-half-inch lock blade knife in his car at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.
Theft from building: The owner of the former Katie's Corner and Ianazone's Pizza locations at 400 W. Main St. reported a grease trap, industrial faucet fixtures and a safe with unknown contents stolen. Both businesses are no longer in operation.
Sept. 8
Theft: Wooden pallets were reported taken from Agland, Countrymark, Landmark factory, mill and plant at 364 Lisbon St.
Sept. 9
Drug paraphernalia: A 25-year-old Export, Pa., man was charged of possession of drug paraphernalia on East Main Street after police found a silver marijuana pipe containing residue and rolling papers.
Sept. 10
Theft: A black metal flat trailer with an attached ramp was stolen from the Neff Co., 55 Lisbon St.

Sept. 4
Theft from auto: A compact-disc player was taken from the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Burglary: A man was apprehended in a burglary in the 1000 block of South Meridian Road.
Theft: Gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Aggravated menacing: Threats were made over the phone in the 1000 block of Laurelwood Place.
Burglary: Miscellaneous items were taken from the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Burglary: A snow blower was taken from the 3000 block of New Road.
Criminal damaging: A driver's door-side mirror was damaged in the 4000 block of North Warwick Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched with a key in the 100 block of Country Green Drive.
Property damage: A door was damaged at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station.

Theft: Gasoline worth $43.01 was stolen from Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Driving, drug offenses: A North Jackson man was arrested on a felony charge of operating a vehicle under the influence, his fourth OVI charge, and placed in county jail. He also was arrested at Mahoning Avenue and Wickliffe Circle on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Theft from auto: A flashlight was taken from a vehicle in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Breaking and entering: Cigarettes and cigars were taken from Raccoon Road Drive-Thru, 3120 S. Raccoon Road.
Attempted theft: Door handles and a dash were damaged on a vehicle in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft from auto: A vehicle lock was damaged and a radio taken in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Fuel was taken from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft of services: Long-distance calls were made on a victim's phone bill in the 300 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.
Burglary: Medication was taken by an unknown suspect or suspect in the 90 block of North Turner Road.
Theft: Fuel was taken from TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: Cigarettes were stolen from Walgreen's, 5501 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A man and a woman were arrested at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave., on theft charges.
Criminal damaging: A windshield was shattered at Patrick's, 58 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: Gasoline was stolen from Pilot Oil.
Auto theft: A 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix was stolen from King Kar Motors, 4120 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was broken in the 3000 block of Dunbar Avenue.
Property damage: A vehicle was damaged by a lawnmower in the 1000 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Weapons offense: A man was arrested on a weapons offense charge in the 4000 block of New Road.

Auto theft: A 1995 Chevrolet Lumina minivan was stolen from the Fours Seasons Lounge, 4174 New Road.
Criminal damaging: Damage was reported to a home by previous renters in the 200 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Breaking and entering: A yard vacuum was stolen in the 1000 block of North Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: Radios were taken from a vehicle inside the trailer at Fyda Freightliner, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.

Counterfeit money: A female attempted to use counterfeit $20 bills at Wal-Mart.

Burglary: Cash was taken from the 100 block of Carnegie Avenue.

Theft: Fuel was taken from Sheetz gas station.
Auto theft: A 1999 GMC Jimmy was stolen from the 3000 block of Cannon Road.

Property damage: A vehicle was damaged in the 10 block of North Raccoon Road.
Disturbance: Various juveniles and adults were involved in a disturbance in the 60 block of North Roanoke Avenue. A pellet gun was confiscated.
