Catholic group will scoop on Handel's Day

Members of the Mahoning South Catholic Leadership Team of the Mahoning South Deanery of the Diocese of Youngstown will participate in Handel's Day fund-raisers at four locations in the area.
Pastors, principals, parents, teachers and staff will serve as "celebrity scoopers" from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The events will raise money for the leadership team and its marketing efforts for diocesan schools. The team uses some of the money to pay for programs and events at the schools.
Participating schools and Handel's locations are:
USt. Matthias School of Youngstown: Handel's at Court and Midlothian in Youngstown.
USt. Joseph the Provider of Campbell and Holy Family of Poland: Clingan Road and U.S. Route 224, Poland.
USt. Nicholas of Struthers and St. Luke of Boardman: South Avenue, Boardman.
USt. Charles of Boardman: Route 224 near Rockne's.
